Maps for the Run and Bike Routes and
to get to the Float start
The ~3 mile run/walk/hike portion (map below) is a trail course (aka single track), that winds through the woods and around a giant meadow (lovely). The ~1 mile route covers much the same territory, but just less. The 100 yard dash will be held in the meadow just before the start of the 3 mi. & 1 mi. events.
The bike route winds its way through the farms and fields of northern Orange County, starting and ending at the Confluence. The exact course is being revised for 2026, but you can get an idea of the area from last year's route (map below). Cue sheets will be available for those who would like them. This website will be updated once the route has been confirmed.
The float component of the event will start and end from the amphitheater parking lot of the West Point on the Eno State Park. See map below for directions from parking lot to Sennett's Hole.

West Point Amphitheater Parking Lot to Sennett's Hole

What To Know
See Map at left and parking notes below but here's the big idea:
1. Sennet's hole is where we're congregating to start the float.
2. Park at the Amphitheater Lot if there's room. If there isn't, drop off your tubes and your people there, then go park at one of the 2 other areas described below.
3. If you park at the main lot or the shopping center, you'll find that there's a bunch of fencing and signage in the park saying you can't enter the part of the park by the river or cross on the footbridge. Ignore this and walk over the bridge anyway.
Float Parking
The float takes place at the West Point on the Eno Park (WPotEP). We will hike up to the float put-in at Sennet’s Hole. It’s maybe a quarter mile. We’ll take the trail on the north side of the river (on the left as you look upstream)
-
The best parking spot for this is the WPotEP Amphitheater Parking lot that is at the intersection of Woodland Dr. and N. Roxboro Rd. This puts you already on the North side of the river. But it’s a small lot so may fill up fast. Here’s a QR for the destination on Google Map
-
The second best parking spot for the float is the main WPotEP parking lot that is at the intersection of Seven Oaks Rd. and N. Roxboro Rd. This puts you on the South side of the river, but cross the footbridge that’s up near the Roxboro Rd edge of the park and you’ll be right at the start of the path to Sennet’s hole. Here’s a QR for the destination on Google Maps
-
If all else fails, there’s a shopping center parking lot across Roxboro Rd. from the main entrance to WPotEP. You can park there and there is a traffic light and cross walk to get you safely through traffic to the park entrance. Once you enter the park, stay to your right and cross the footbridge over the river that up near the Roxboro Rd edge of the park. Here’s a QR for the destination on Google Maps
